Greetings Pintlala Parents,

Starting Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, all MPS students will be virtual (this includes current face-to-face students). MPS teachers and administrators will continue to report to their classrooms and offices as usual. Again, students will not be in classrooms starting Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 until Friday, January 8, 2020; however, they will be expected to log-in for class in Schoology each day.

Note:  If parents wish to start virtual learning before Dec. 7, 2020, they may do so. You will need to submit a written request to Principal Sampson informing her of your decision in letter form or via email.

MPS will observe its December holiday break starting Dec. 21-Jan. 3, 2020.

All MPS students and teachers will resume virtual classes on Jan. 4-8, 2021. Parents will be required to complete a commitment form if students will be returning to face-to-face instruction on Jan. 11, 2021. Those students wishing to continue virtual instruction will have that option as well.

Important Dates:
• Dec. 7-18: All MPS students will be virtual.
• Dec. 21-Jan. 3: Winter Break begins. All schools and MPS offices will be closed.
• Jan. 4-8: All MPS students will resume virtual learning.
• Jan. 11: Students with a completed commitment form for face-to-face learning will be able to
return to classrooms.

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Angela K. Sampson, principal, at the school or via email at angela.james@mps.k12.al.us.

Educationally Yours,

Mrs. Angela K. Sampson, Principal
